​​"I often walk at the Quogue Wildlife Refuge without an agenda. Nature sets the tempo, and my mind settles into rhythm. Forest, wetland, and still ponds unfold quietly as I move.
These walks are less about observation and more about absorption. The quiet fills me, and nature's beauty creates a sense of calm.
Quogue Morning emerged from that state. When I sat with the guitar, I allowed the feeling of those walks to guide the music. The music unfolded the way the morning does—unhurried and spacious. Notes appeared, lingered, and played like reflections on water. There was no destination, only presence."
