I’m honored to share that my 2025 album Transcendence has received three 2026 New Age Notes Radio Music Awards:
Best New Age Album for Transcendence
Best Guitar with Instrumentation Album for Transcendence
Best Guitar with Instrumentation Song for “Windows of Time”
I'm super grateful for this recognition.

Released on March 14, 2025, Transcendence was created as more than a collection of earlier recordings. It became a reimagining of some of my most meaningful compositions, newly remixed and remastered in Stereo and Dolby Atmos Spatial Audio. In revisiting these ten tracks, I wanted to give them new dimension, greater spaciousness, and a deeper emotional presence.
At its heart, Transcendence is both a reflection on my musical journey and a fresh listening to some of my favorite songs and many that are heard on the Sirius XM Spa channel. The album includes new Atmos remixes of "Heart Awakening,” “Edge of Eternal,” “Soothe,” “Revelation,” “Nirab Amare,” “Imagine,” “Pondering When,” “Knowingness,” “Windows of Time,” and “Dreaming of Now.” Listening to these songs renewed in this format feels like opening familiar rooms and finding more light inside them.
I’m especially touched that “Windows of Time” was also honored as Best Guitar with Instrumentation Song. That piece is very close to my heart, and I’m grateful to see it recognized in this way.
I’m also deeply grateful to the extraordinary musicians whose performances helped shape Transcendence, including Will Ackerman, Tony Levin, Michael Manring, Jill Haley, Frank Martin, George Brooks, Kai Eckhardt, Charlie Bisharat, Premik Russell Tubbs, Kristin Hoffmann, Celso Alberti, and others. Their artistry brought beauty, depth, and spirit to this music.

Huge thanks to my mix and mastering engineer and dear friend, Todd Boston, whose work transformed these songs into immersive Dolby Atmos mixes. Todd brings great skill and sensitivity to all of my projects, and his work was essential in bringing this album fully to life.
This project was also made possible through a generous grant from my dear friend Bernard Francis Kyle and Cloudbusting LLC. I’m incredibly grateful for Bernard's support.
My thanks as well to Dyan Garris and New Age Notes Radio for supporting independent artists in this genre, and to the judges who spent time listening closely and considering the music of all the nominees. They are all wonderful artists whose work I admire, which makes this recognition even more meaningful.

I’m also grateful to everyone who has supported Transcendence whether by streaming, downloading, purchasing the limited-edition signed CD, or supporting my broader discography. Your support means a great deal to me.
Most of all, thank you to everyone who has listened, shared the music, written about it, added it to playlists, or simply spent quiet time with this album. Music travels through human connection, and I am grateful to be part of your listening experience.
For me, Transcendence has always been about more than looking back. It has been about renewal, uplift, and the possibility that music can open a reflective space within us. These three awards feel like a beautiful affirmation of that intention.
With gratitude,
Shambhu
