I have been a fan of the work of Shambhu for some 15 years now, to confirm this I visited my musical library to find Sacred Love still sitting there in my collection, over the years since I have been graced with one acoustic slice of musical pleasure after another, today in 2025 it is no different as we take a journey with the latest single from the artist, and his new work Awakened Dreams.

This has to be one of the most sensitive guitar creations from the musician, gentle cascades of notes, melodious chord structures, a little depth when needed, and then an uplifting narrative to take away the grey clouds and leave blue skies ahead, all of that and more can be found on Awakened Dreams, it is like summer nectar and a field of bluebells all in one place, perhaps even a veritable taste of Nirvana itself.

Solo acoustic guitar is a growing genre again, but artists like Shambhu are leaders of it, a superior tonal voyage awaits the listener on this brand new single, crisp notes are partnered with reflective measures, in a composition that will remain a timeless reverie in the years ahead. Smooth silk-like performances like this from the composer are hard to find, leaving me with just one simple conclusion, another big chart hit for the guitarist is on the way with Awakened Dreams.
